My stay at The Malt House had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, very close to the Fulham Broadway tube station, making it easy to explore London. However, the service left a bit to be desired, particularly during breakfast when staff seemed scarce and unresponsive. While the food quality was impressive, my room, though comfortable, had some maintenance issues. Overall, it was a decent experience but fell short of what I had hoped for. I might consider other options in the future.

Rooms
6.0
The room was small but well laid out, equipped with all necessary amenities. However, there were maintenance issues, like a noisy air conditioning unit and an odorous bathroom due to a lack of ventilation.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly but lacked efficiency, particularly during busier times. I often had to seek assistance, which made things frustrating, especially during breakfast.
Location
8.0
It's situated in a nice residential neighborhood, just around the corner from the tube, which made it convenient for exploring the city. The area itself felt safe and welcoming.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the food quality in the pub; the dinner was great and the breakfast options were generous, though the service during breakfast could improve considerably.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has a cozy pub atmosphere with a charming decor, but the shared spaces felt understaffed at times, affecting the overall experience.

5.6/10

My stay at The Malt House had its ups and downs. The location in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for accessing Fulham Broadway, but the room left much to be desired. While the dining options had great food choices, particularly at the pub, my experience with the service was inconsistent.

Rooms
5.0
The room was average, and I noticed some issues like broken window shades and a damp smell. The bed felt old and tired, and the thermostat struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Service
5.0
Although the cleaning staff were friendly, the management seemed disengaged. I felt more like an imposition rather than a valued guest, especially during breakfast when service was confusing and slow.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was commendable, set in a pleasant residential area just outside the bustling city. Being near the subway made getting around London quite easy.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the food at the pub, particularly the gourmet options, but breakfast could have been better organized. I had to ask multiple times for basic items like juice and fruit.
Facilities
5.0
The air conditioning system was quite noisy, and I had issues with the weak shower pressure. Overall maintenance of facilities seemed a bit lacking, which affected my comfort.

6.2/10

My stay at The Malt House was a mixed bag. The location was definitely a plus, being in a charming area close to good transport links and local spots. However, my room could use a deep clean—there was a layer of dust everywhere and even some old coffee pods left in the coffee machine. The breakfast options were limited, and dinner was a bit of a disappointment with lacking service and high prices for basic meals.

Rooms
6.0
My room felt nice at first, but in daylight, I noticed it was dusty and needed a good clean. Plus, there were issues with some lamps not working and dirty coffee pods in the machine.
Service
6.0
The service during dinner left a lot to be desired. I felt neglected with no one checking in on us after our meals, and that's not what I expected, especially after being charged a service fee.
Location
9.0
I loved the location—it was in a nice residential area with easy access to the tube and a good vibe from the nearby pubs and restaurants.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was super basic—just continental with no savory options, which was disappointing. Dinner wasn't any better, with poor service and overpriced food that didn’t impress.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities could definitely see some upgrades, especially in the room amenities like showerheads. The absence of a lift also made getting to my room a bit of a hassle.

6.0/10

My stay at The Malt House had its ups and downs. The charming pub atmosphere and the generous continental breakfast were standout features. However, my room was quite cold and showed signs of wear, which detracted from the overall experience. The service was friendly, but I encountered some inconsistencies in room cleaning.

Rooms
6.0
The Kiln room had a lovely charm and was attractively decorated, but it was cold with some noticeable damp issues. The bathroom was spacious, and I appreciated the quirky shabby chic style. However, cleanliness could use improvement as there was debris under the bed, and fresh milk was often missing during my stay.
Service
7.0
Staff were warm and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. They allowed me a little extra time for breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. However, there were lapses in the cleaning service that left me feeling a bit neglected.
Location

I loved the location, just a short stroll from Fulham Broadway tube station. Nestled in a nice residential neighborhood, it was an ideal spot for visiting central London while enjoying a quieter atmosphere. Plus, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Dining

The continental breakfast was a good start to the day, with high-quality food. Although I didn't dine for lunch or dinner, I heard great things about the menu options and appreciated the cozy pub ambiance.
Facilities

The Malt House offers a unique experience as a pub hotel and has a nice outdoor space to relax. However, some room facilities needed attention and refurbishment, particularly the shower temperature control.

I had a pretty decent stay at The Malt House, but there were a few hiccups along the way. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the experience much more pleasant. However, the room itself left something to be desired, with a few cleanliness issues and maintenance problems. Overall, it's a solid option for a night or two in London, especially with the great breakfast and pub atmosphere.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and warm, but it had some cleanliness issues and the blinds were broken. The carpet had stains and the bathroom soap dispenser was empty, which was disappointing. Overall, I would rate it as average.
Service
9.0
The staff really stood out to me. They were friendly and went out of their way to help, like providing coffee while I waited for check-in. Special thanks to Lily, who was fantastic.
Location

The location is convenient, being a short walk from Fulham Broadway tube station and situated in a nice residential neighborhood away from the hustle of central London. It made getting around very easy.
Dining

Breakfast was spot on – the continental options were plentiful, including cereals, pastries, and fresh fruit. The dinner discount was a nice bonus too, and the food quality was high.
Facilities

The pub has a cozy atmosphere and a charming decor, but I did find the cleanliness in my room could have been better. I liked the outdoor courtyard too, as it was a nice spot to relax.
